6 Year old mini Dachshund free to new home for sale in Sandpoint, Idaho

I am posting this for a friend of mine. Serious inquiries only.
Paige Morgan, our 6 year old mini dachshund needs to find a loving home. I have had her since she was seven weeks old.
She is mostly relaxed, but loves squirrels, and barks at them. :) Our neighbors have chickens and she wants to get out and get them, so we know she doesn't do well with those. I am looking for someone who has a fenced yard, but it isn't crucial. She tries to escape our fenced yard, but she doesn't dig or anything. Without a fence, she doesn't go far and always comes back. She isn't a hyper dog at all. She prefers to just be burrowed in blankets.
She is house trained. She goes to the door when she needs to go, but I let her out, too. She loves to be snuggled and loved on. She doesn't necessarily play very often, but rather chew up toys and tennis balls. She loves looking in the trees for critters like is is hunting. :)
She likes to play outside, but she is an indoor dog. She hates to be in a kennel and cries when she is in there, but like all dogs, I'm sure she could be trained. She is very good in the house. At night she sleeps on a dog bed in the living room and will occasionally sneak on the couch. She is allowed to be on the couch and such. She wishes she could sleep in bed, because she loves to burrow under the covers and sleep by your feet.
She does good with other animals, except chickens. Big or small dogs, cats... :)
She is great with kids, but as long as they treat her respectfully.
There is nothing to be cautious with except when you pick her up, you have to do it properly so she doesn't get scared-- which if you are familiar with small dogs, this is common. She is extremely sweet! She walks on a leash, but needs a harness and PRACTICE! :)
She has been taken very good care of, but I'm sure she needs her shots.
We are looking for a quite home with older kids or no kids.
She is not fixed. She has not had any health issues. She is about 10lbs.
Please email me with your situation and what kind of home you can provide. We will be quite picky on where she goes, because we want to make sure she is in a good home. I'd like to see the home and meet any other animals and people she will be living with, too.
Thank you!
